Alicia Kozakiewicz, then age 13, was befriended by a sexual predator on an online chat room. He then kidnapped her, drove across state lines, and locked her in a cage in his basement. There, he beat, tortured and raped her. Alicia says she mourns for the child that was her, who, she says, is still locked up in that cage.
When I read this, honestly, I was disgusted. What kind of sick freak could do that to another human being? That's just disgusting, mortifying and puke-inducing. This could have been prevented if her parents had only kept a closer eye on what she was doing on the computer.
